Adopt an orphaned baby elephant
This one is guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings. Elephant Havens in Botswana rescues babies in the wild who have lost their parents from life-threatening situations. Any and all (tax-deductible) donations are welcome. Because hand-feeding and raising these babies is so labor-intensive, it can cost up to $4 500 to cover a baby elephant’s food for one month, plus all the associated vet bills and their human caretaker’s salary for a caretaker. https://elephanthavens.org/
