We begin by understanding what is drawing you to Africa, then work closely with you from the first idea until everyone is safely home.

Every proposal is hand-designed from scratch and based on your specific preferences, timing, travel style, and group dynamics. We take into account everything from logistics and seasonal nuances to which guides and rooms will suit you best.
To begin the planning process, we require a $500 planning fee. This allows us to invest the time and expertise needed to craft an itinerary that’s far from off-the-shelf. The planning fee is fully credited toward your trip cost if you choose to book with us.
Once the planning fee has been received, we will create detailed, custom itinerary options — based on your preferences, travel dates, and style. Each proposal includes confirmed availability, a detailed list of inclusions, and provisional holds where possible.
Your feedback helps us refine the trip. This might mean adjusting the pace, reconsidering a property, exploring a different destination, or making small changes to the experiences included.
Once you are happy with the itinerary, we confirm the arrangements and secure your booking. A 30% nonrefundable deposit is required at this stage, with the remaining balance due 60 days before departure.
The payment terms that apply to your specific trip will always be clearly outlined in your proposal.
Once your trip is confirmed, we turn our attention to preparing you for everything ahead.
We provide your final itinerary and travel documents, along with guidance on packing, entry requirements, luggage restrictions, tipping, and other practical considerations for your specific trip. Travel insurance is essential, and we can assist with one of our recommended options. Entry visas are required for certain countries and we’re on hand to ensure you’re all set.
A pre-departure call with Ashley is the final step of the planning process where we walk through all the details, discuss last minute concerns and, most importantly, get excited for your trip.
Our relationship does not end when your trip begins.
