This itinerary takes you to three of Kenya’s top safari destinations. If the word “adventurous” describes you and your partner, this itinerary with fantastic wildlife sightings, superb guiding, lots of pampering, and special honeymoon details will do just the trick!
On your first night, you’ll stay at a safari lodge inside Nairobi National Park, which is one of the best places in Kenya to find endangered rhinos and provides a gentle arrival for your safari while you adjust from the flights and possible jetlag.
You’ll then fly across southern Kenya to your lodge based at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in the heart of the Maasailand. Home to some of the largest ‘tusker’ elephants left in East Africa. One of the highlights of this lodge is that it’s a photographic hide where you can spend the afternoon sipping on a gin and tonic as the elephants stop by looking for a cool down.
Here you’ll have a 4-night stay to explore the area, including hiking to a lava tube, horseback riding, game drives, guided walks, and much more.
Next, you’ll fly onwards to the world-famous Masai Mara for 4 nights and stay at one of our favorite little tented camps on the Mara Plains. A pride of lions is known to hang around the camp, and a female leopard can often be found nearby. During your stay, you’ll float above the plains for a peaceful and scenic hot air balloon excursion. Unforgettable and memorable!
This trip takes you to four boutique and luxury properties. These hidden gems were all recently renovated and are hosted by incredible teams with special touring and activities arranged for you with our private guide in Cape Town.
First, you’ll enjoy 4 nights based at your hotel overlooking Camps Bay beach and the Atlantic Ocean in your spacious, well located, and brand new hotel.
You’ll explore the Cape Peninsula on a private tour stopping by Boulders Beach’s Penguin Colony (with an optional sea-kayaking excursion). After that, you’ll head to the scenic Cape Point Nature Reserve, where you will visit the southwestern tip of Africa and enjoy a private catered lunch at a secret location.
You’ll have another day exploring the city sights and sounds of Cape Town, including Table Mountain, Robben Island (weather permitting, The Bo Kaap, and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Next, you’ll head to the stunning Cape Winelands for two nights at a boutique luxury property near Franschhoek village. Explore the village’s shops and restaurants and join your guide for an active, in-depth, and fun day experiencing the Winelands by e-bike. You’ll be visiting tasting rooms and wine farms and have a delicious lunch at a top restaurant overlooking the vineyards.
You’ll then fly commercially to Johannesburg. Here you will be met and assisted to your light aircraft charter to the far north of the country and the very northernmost part of Kruger National Park.
Your camp is a community-based tourism and conservation project with the local Makuleke Community. It has one of the warmest and charming cultural safari experiences anywhere in South Africa.
The community partly owns the camp, providing a unique vibe and human connection.
Lastly, you’ll fly up to your luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Private Reserve. Here you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, sundowners, optional guided walks, and spa treatments from the comfort of your luxury villa with an ensuite pool.
This romantic, immersive, active, and adventurous itinerary shows you how exciting and diverse South Africa is as a destination.

You can enjoy seeing all of the iconic “Big Five” animals, including rhino, lion, elephant, leopard, and buffalo, and several cheetahs residing in the area.
