The world needs more people like Daniel Ole Sambu. He’s an old friend and an admirable eco-warrior who has headed up the Big Life Foundation’s Predator Protection Program for over 12 years. Through his work with the Big Life Foundation, Daniel has helped advocate for policies and practices that reduce the human-wildlife conflict in his homelands near the foot of Mt Kilimanjaro. This also happens to be the location of one of our absolute favorite lodges in Kenya, Ol Donyo, which preserves a critical elephant and lion migration corridor between three National Parks (Amboseli, Tsavo West and Chyulu Hills).
